Mission Statement

FamilyWorksVT is a counseling practice that provides compassionate and effective therapy to adults who are struggling with intimacy, sex, trust, and communication issues. We believe that everyone deserves to have a healthy and fulfilling relationship, and we are committed to helping our clients achieve their goals.

Our therapists are experienced and knowledgeable in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, relational life therapy, and family systems theory. We believe that the best approach to therapy is to tailor it to the individual needs of each client.

We offer a safe and confidential space for our clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. We are committed to providing our clients with the support and guidance they need to make positive changes in their lives.

“We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us something is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit.”  e.e. cummings

We offer the following services for adults only:

  • Individual Psychotherapy – 45-60 minutes
  • Couples Therapy – 45-60 minutes (in some circumstances, 2 hour sessions available)
  • Family Therapy – 45-60 minutes
  • TeleVideo Therapy (Video Calls)  – 45-60 minutes
