ALOUETTE DUO
Beautiful, serene music!
I was beyond pleased with the Alouette Duo for our ceremony and cocktail hour. They were amazing and really pulled everything together that I envisioned. The music was peaceful and beautiful. They played every song I had requested and for the ceremony they faded music flawlessly. Even though we had an outdoor winter wedding, they were accommodating to us. They provided music outside to our ceremony via an amplifier and followed all cues provided by the wedding coordinator and officiant. They were very receptive to music selection changes and my emails always, answering back quickly. They even came earlier to extend their play time upon my request. Having live musicians was a perfect extra touch to make the ceremony even more magical. Each and every song was played beautifully. I would highly recommend the Alouette Duo— highly professional, great music, and kind people.

Alouette is a flute-and-guitar duo with over 30 years of performances playing weddings, commitment ceremonies and similar functions all over Vermont.
We’ve played Catholic weddings, Jewish weddings, Episcopalian weddings, non-denominational weddings, weddings on hillsides in southern Vermont, weddings in inns and on the shores of Lake Champlain and on the summit of Mount Mansfield. We’ve performed at soirees, parties, funerals, memorials, and charity events. We’ve played for parties of 10 people and for 300 people. Time and again we’ve been complimented on the suitability of our selections and the quality of our playing. (References available on request.)
Our repertoire covers more than 350 years of music, and we’re equally at home playing music for the ceremony and for the cocktail hour afterwards. Barbara has been a member of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra (since 1989), the Burlington Chamber Orchestra and the Burlington Ensemble. Gregg Jordan has been playing guitar professionally for more than 25 years.
